Thrilled to share with you a few watercolours I have painted for a Camino de Santiago themed wedding. Enjoy the reel!

It all starts with a conversation with the bride and groom to share ideas, style, colour palette…then research time begins (in this case about selected places from the Camino de Santiago different routes) to continue with numerous hours of painting 🎨
Just for seeing the faces of the lovely couple when they opened the box with the 30 watercolours inside is worth the effort to fill my ❤️, the heartwarming message from both of them, from their families and friends, even unknown guests….I feel privileged to name my passion my job too 💫

There are a few other watercolour commissions on the pipeline, some including letterpress too! So watch this space.

World health day today.
Through the Our planet, a health campaign, WHO urges governments and the public to share stories of steps they are taking to protect the planet and their health and prioritize well-being societies.

I continue to share my project’s journey “shores of plastic” with all of you from wherever I go, this time from the shores of Malta. Amazing coast but full of micro plastics.
As many of you already know, this is an ongoing project, Shores of plastic, in which I am creating new series of cyanotype prints using found materials from different rivers and seas, mainly plastics.

Although often aesthetically beautiful, the works point to the concerning profusion of these plastics in our environment. Hopefully, these prints will lead us to reflect on our daily actions and that everything we throw away comes back to us (via the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil we grow crops and raise animals on).

This is an ongoing project but a final outcome with all prints included is on the way in the form of an artist book.
